Pronouns- She-Her<\/span><\/p>\n Karen\u2019s degrees include a Bachelor of Education Human Resource Development,\u00a0 Master of Education with a focus on Inclusion, Master of Science Guidance and Counselling. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Counselling Therapist.<\/span><\/p>\n Karen has spent the last 9 years working as a School Counsellor with the Public Schools Branch.\u00a0 She taught for 9 years prior to this. She has supported children and families at all levels from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Karen has partnered with outside agencies\u00a0 to facilitate groups for coping with Anxiety. She has significant experience supporting children who struggle with self- regulation.<\/p>\n Karen is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Rehabilitation (EMDR) an evidence based therapy for treating trauma. She is a lifelong learner who continues to learn and grow as a therapist to provide the best care for clients.<\/p>\n Karen resides in western PEI with her husband.
